December PageMaps

This is from the sketch contest this month over at Page Maps. It started off like the sketch but I flipped it and I left out a little and added a little, was inspired to get out my sewing machine that I want to master. All in all I love the end result!
In September we went to Alabama for my brothers wedding. It turned out very beautiful, it was outdoors under a tent. It was very sophisticated and I hope I captured that  in this layout. Ti amo means I love you in Italian, they went on a long honeymoon to Rome and this is spoken there....so google tells me anyways! lol

If you look closely in the background of the picture I LOVE what I captured. It is my cousin knelt down holding the hand of this adorable little girl in a handmade dress. She is his 2nd cousin & I just think this is so sweet, especially the way she is looking at him! It almost competes with the beautiful bride & groom, but not quite!

I also wanted to give a shout out to Stacy Milford, her blog is here. She is a designer  at Scrapbook Circle. I just seen her named mentioned in Creating Keepsakes Readers Gallery. Congrats Stacy!

If you like my work, please follow me! I love more followers!

This Boy......

I am so in love with this line "Rough & Tough" from Fancy Pants. It completely seems to fit all the pictures of my little man T. I used my stickles for the 1st time, probably hard to see but I colored in the stars and the title.

I am so excited I took the plunge and got a RED Cricut Expressions at Walmart on black Friday. I wasn't really sure how much I wanted the machine, but for the price they had, I changed my mind.....I act as though this was still a cheap purchase! lol, well it is my xmas present from everyone! Thanks family, a month early ofcourse!

needing a little something

This layout doesn't feel finished to me. Maybe its because I used rub-ons. I don't know maybe I should let it "sit". I do think its funny how our minds work subconsciously. I knew I wanted to use this paper and I really wasn't sure why, then when I put the photo down I realized my son was wearing a Lightning McQueen shirt with racing flags which mimicked the paper. Talk about scrappers intuition!

This one has stumped me even more. I love where I was originally going with it. I knew I wanted to cut the boys out to look like superman, they thought that was pretty cool! But I think it is just the plain red cs that is driving me crazy. I guess it's just one of those where you have to move on, but in my head it was going to be great! I did it at a crop which doesn't produce my best work! lol
Here's another simple one I did at the crop. The boy's were so cute that day. I am already missing the warm weather, and winter hasn't even hit!
This is my favorite of the bunch. I got crafty with my stamps, that was fun! The frames/swirls were done with stamps and was cut with scalloped scissors. It makes me sad he is growing so fast, but I am so proud of him!

I organized!

Yes that's right I spent well over a day organizing and purging all my scrapbook stuff! It was pretty overwhelming and maybe I should have taken pictures, but it wasn't pretty! I even finally bought page protectors and more albums to get my 2 ft. stack of layouts put away, and Im not exaggerating! I remember reading one day how Elsie Flannigan had stacks of layouts laying in piles and I gasped. I guess I should not judge!
I love this line from Sassafrass Lass couldn't wait to use it!
And heres some more of the owls!

hoo...hoo..hoo...hoo

Must say I love all the new Owl trends and this line from Dream Street Papers has been my favorite so far and this rubon title happens to match perfectly! Don't you just love it when that happens! And Im kind of addicted to my new fiskars edge punch, its hard to stop myself from using it on every layout!

Being I have all boys I love all the monsters coming out too, I thought it fit these 2 little "monsters" perfectly!

Fall is here!

I know my blog doesn't reach that many people, but I thought every prayer is one more prayer that is needed. This is a picture of my SIL Kristy who has 2 small children & she is battling cancer so If you could stop & say a prayer & hopefully keep her in your prayers, I would greatly appreciate it!
It is definitely crisp & cool around here lately. I wanted to start my layouts with one I did last year that I thought was worth reposting. I loved this one & sent it in to different mags and it never got picked up. Oh well, I still love it! Everything about it makes me smile!
I took the boys on a horse carriage this summer....loved the middle picture! Love pink paislee's new lines, cant wait to have more fall pictures to use with them!
So here's the boy's school pictures. I am sooooo behind on printing pictures, & doing layouts, & about a million other things. So thank you Scrapbooks etc. for your free photo templates. They make my life so much easier, and I still love the way they came out!
Cant believe Mason is in 1st grade already!
And my little cheesball Trent is in his 2nd yr of Pre-school! Well hope its not so long between scrapping because I have alot of pictures to catch up on! Thanks for looking!

September PageMaps

Well I may never get any scrapping done or any blogging done if it wasn't for pagemaps. It seems like that is the thing that gets me inspired to scrap lately. Here is Mason at my brother Cole's wedding, he changed his dress shirt and wanted to still wear his tie. He just looked so adorable! Altered the photo and added a texture to the background.

Here's my cutie Trent and his cousin Brett. They love playing together, and they are double trouble when together!
